On 22 December 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Marko Đurić, formally awarded diplomas to the Director of DIPOS, Ms. Bojana Martinović, as well as to other participants of the Diplomatic Academy who successfully completed the professional training program.
“The attainment of this diploma represents a great honor and personal satisfaction for me, as well as a significant responsibility, as it constitutes an important chapter in my professional and personal development and reaffirms my commitment to service in the public interest.
The knowledge acquired has enabled me to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary international relations and the importance of diplomatic practice, and I am confident that it will also make a substantial contribution to my further work in the position I currently hold.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister in charge, Mr. Marko Đurić, as well as to the lecturers and colleagues whose knowledge, experience, and support made the achievement of this success possible,” Director Martinović stated on this occasion.
Addressing those present, Minister Đurić emphasized that the challenges we face in our time, particularly as representatives of the Republic of Serbia, are such in scale and complexity that they require continuous personal and professional development from all of us.
“This program, which is outstanding, contributes to strengthening the capacities of each of you; however, there is also a clear need to continue professional development throughout one’s work and career,” the Minister added.
Speaking about the objectives for the year ahead, the Minister pointed out that the priorities will include continued efforts to preserve stability in our region under highly complex circumstances, the continued safeguarding of Serbia’s independent and militarily neutral position, the strengthening of the country’s economic capacities, as well as the preservation of the cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage of the Serbian people and of all peoples living within the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
“All of this largely rests on the individuals who enter the ranks of the diplomatic service, who must represent the true and best face of Serbia—every day and in everything they do, both in their professional conduct and in their private lives. This is not merely a job; it is a vocation—a calling that obliges us to give our very best each day and to continuously improve ourselves,” the Minister concluded.
