In memory of the breakthrough of the Thessaloniki front on September 15, 1918, the Republic of Serbia marks the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag for the first time, all with the aim of building and respecting the cult of the flag. Even in the most difficult times, the Serbian people proudly stood by their tricolor, jealously defended and guarded it from the enemy. Today it is a symbol of all victories, indivisibility, suffering and identity.
