On May 29, the Day of Serbian Diplomacy was celebrated in our country in memory of May 29, 1839. On that day, the Prince’s Office of Foreign Affairs was founded, which is considered the beginning of professional diplomacy in Serbia. On that occasion, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic laid a wreath on the grave of Ivo Andric, who was in the diplomatic service for 21 years, serving in eight countries.
