DIPOS’S JUBILEES: 70 Years of Cooperation with the Embassies of Mexico and Albania

This year, our company is celebrating two important anniversaries – 70 years of successful and friendly cooperation with the diplomatic missions of Mexico and Albania. This important jubilee for us is not just a confirmation of continuity, but of deep, solid, and reliable partnerships.

The cooperation between Dipos and the Embassy of Mexico is among our company’s longest-standing and most stable partnerships. Its foundations were laid back in 1956, when the first contract was signed. Over the years, this relationship based on trust, stability, and friendship, has been reaffirmed through important events and symbolic gestures.
And so, at the celebration of Dipos’s 60th anniversary, a special certificate of gratitude was awarded to H. E. Carlos Isauro Félix Corona and the Embassy of Mexico, with whom the company has had the longest uninterrupted professional cooperation.
The continuity and quality of this relationship were reaffirmed on 8 December 2025, during a cordial meeting at the premises of the Embassy of Mexico, when Dipos Director Bojana Martinović and her Deputy Ivana Milosavljević met with the Ambassador of Mexico, Carlos Isauro Félix Corona. In gratitude for the decades of trust and cooperation, the Ambassador was given a symbolic ‘Key of Trust’, as an expression of respect, loyalty, and shared dedication to the further development of relations.
The Embassy of Mexico in Serbia has for decades been at the same address, at 5 Ljutice Bogdana Street in Belgrade. This is a representative building constructed in the interwar Modernist style. The villa bears all of the characteristic traits of this style and is a point of inspiration for architecture historians and admirers of the construction style predating World War II. Particularly impressive is the elegant round end of the building’s structure, with skilfully integrated restrained windows, together with the flat façade surfaces.

Openness and friendship are also typical of Dipos’s decades of cooperation with the Embassy of Albania in Belgrade. The first lease agreement between Dipos and Albanian partners was signed in 1956, and the collaboration has lasted ever since, to mutual satisfaction.
The years of fruitful cooperation were officially reaffirmed on 10 December last year, when in the Embassy of Albania, a cordial and eventful meeting was organised between the Dipos Director Bojana Martinović, Deputy Ivana Milosavljević, and H. E. Bardhyl Canaj, Ambassador of Albania. In the spirit of long-term cooperation and mutual respect, Ambassador Canaj also received the symbolic ‘Key of Trust’, as an expression of gratitude and firm partnership which is continuously nurtured and developed.
‘Today’s meeting was an opportunity to review the joint results we have achieved thus far, and to further deepen our long-standing partnership’, said Dipos Director, Bojana Martinović. Ambassador Canaj, during the open and cordial discussion, emphasized the importance of Dipos and their service portfolio for the operating of the Albanian diplomatic mission in Belgrade.
Albania is using a lavish civic villa for their diplomatic mission at 25a Kneza Aleksandra Karađorđevića. This building, with its beautiful architecture, refined aesthetics, rich symbolism, and historical significance, is a genuine ornament of Belgrade, and one of Dipos’s gems. This representative residence was designed by famous architect Milutin Borisavljević, whose architectural vision introduced the French spirit to the interwar architecture of Belgrade.

Dipos as a reliable partner in diplomatic missions

The ambassadors of Albania and Mexico highlighted Dipos’s importance for their everyday operations in meetings with Dipos’s management.
‘For the Embassy of Mexico, the cooperation with Dipos is essential for the fulfilment of our diplomatic functions in Serbia, for which we are very grateful. The understanding and respecting of specific needs of an embassy is crucial for a functional and high-quality mission, which best represents the image of our country in Serbia. Dipos has the willingness and the understanding to implement administrative procedures that are unique to diplomatic missions’, said Ambassador of Mexico to Serbia, H. E. Carlos Isauro Félix Corona.
