Dipos hosts the Ambassador of Denmark

H.E. the ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark in Belgrade, Mrs. Suzan Shine, visited our Company today. The meeting with the director of Dipos, Mr. Djoko Krivokapic, marked the conversation regarding the continuation of the traditionally good and successful business cooperation and the definition of further steps in order to improve it.

At the meeting, which was attended by H.E. Mrs. Suzan Shajn and the director of the Company, Mr. Krivokapic, also present were the head of the department for finance and administration of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark and the deputy director of Dipos, Ivana Milosavljevic. Talks were held on the topic of the dynamics of maintenance work on the building of the Embassy residence, which the deadline for completion is 14.102022.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark has been using the facilities in our portfolio for many years. The building at 9a Neznanog Junaka Street is used by the Embassy for its administrative purposes, while the aforementioned residence building is located at 48 Užička Street.

Official diplomatic relations between our two countries began in 1917, and today they are characterized as very strong. The business cooperation between Dipos and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark was established in 1957, when the first Lease Agreement was signed.

Over the years, the Kingdom of Denmark has implemented a large number of development programs in Serbia and supported reforms in various areas. Danish companies have invested significantly in the development of the Serbian economy, while cooperation in the field of culture and education between the two countries is extremely good, especially when it comes to the department of Scandinavian languages ​​at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. A large number of Serbian students, scholarship recipients of the EU Erasmus program study at Danish universities, and the Embassy in Belgrade often employs students of the Danish language as assistants.
