Director Martinović attended a thematic session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia at which key issues of strategic importance were discussed

An important thematic session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, attended by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, at the invitation of the Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Đura Macut, was held on 25 January 2026.
The President emphasized that the world is entering a phase of increased fragmentation and conflict, noting that this is no longer a division between the West and the rest of the world, but rather a pronounced fragmentation occurring within the West itself.
He stated that, in order to ensure and guarantee peace, stability, and security for citizens under such circumstances, the engagement of all state institutions is required around what has been identified as the highest priority—the preservation of peace and stability in the country. He further noted that the world is currently at a critical turning point, and that Serbia must find its place in this global environment with minimal risk and with a high level of security for its citizens.
The session, which was also attended by the Director of Dipos, Ms. Bojana Martinović, addressed key issues of strategic importance to the Republic of Serbia, with particular emphasis on the overall political and economic conditions in the country and globally, as well as on the implementation of development and infrastructure projects of national importance, including the EXPO 2027. project.
