His Excellency Mr. Basel Salah, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Serbia, hosted a formal reception this evening on the occasion of Egypt’s National Day. Among the distinguished guests was Ms. Bojana Martinović, director of Dipos and Ms. Ivana Milosavljević, deputy director.

The cooperation between Dipos and the Embassy of Egypt, which has been using two properties managed by our company for its needs, has lasted for more than 60 years. On this occasion, the Director congratulated the Ambassador and expressed her firm belief that this long-standing partnership is yet another confirmation of the traditionally strong and sincere friendship between the two countries, further reinforced by the personal relations between President Aleksandar Vučić and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

In addition to members of the diplomatic corps, the reception was attended by Serbia’s First Lady Tamara Vučić, Prime Minister Đuro Macut, and several government ministers, including Marko Đurić, Zoran Gajić, Jagoda Lazarević, Usame Zukorlić, Aleksandra Sofronijević, Boris Bratina, and Bratislav Gašić, as well as representatives of cultural, religious, and public life.

The Day of the Revolution is a national holiday in Egypt, commemorating the anniversary of the 1952 Egyptian revolution, which marked the end of the Kingdom and led to the establishment of the modern Arab Republic of Egypt.
