On the occasion of two hundred years of independence, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Brazil in Belgrade organized a ceremony at the Museum of the Yugoslav Cinematheque.

After the intonation of anthems by the Brazilian ensemble Trio in uno, the ambassador of Brazil in Belgrade, H.E. Mr. José Maura da Fonseca Costa Couto, in his speech highlighted today’s rich economic, political and cultural ties between the Federal Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Serbia.

During the ceremony, the attendees had the opportunity to hear the sounds of famous Brazilian composers in a combination of the spontaneity of popular music with the expressiveness of classical music directed by the famous Brazilian ensemble Trio in uno.
