The Ambassador of the Russian Federation and the Director of Dipos by planting a birch tree marked 50 years of cooperation

Continuing the practice of marking the jubilee of partnership and friendly relations with diplomatic and consular missions in the Republic of Serbia, which was established for the first time after the appointment of Djoko Krivokapic as director, Property management and rental company “Dipos” d.o.o. Belgrade today celebrated 50 years of business cooperation with the Embassy of the Russian Federation. Belgrade.
Celebrating the jubilee, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia, H. E. Aleksandar Bocan-Kharchenko and the Director of Dipos Djoko Krivokapic, in the presence of the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Mr. Andrej Hripunov, planted a birch tree in the Diplomatic Colony in Dedinje.

This is also the first visit of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade to Dipos since its founding, which was initiated by Director Krivokapic.

 

On this occasion, Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko stated that the cooperation first began between the former Soviet Union and the SFRY, but continued to develop continuously, successively and very fruitfully, and when it comes to strategic cooperation between Serbia and Russia, which is now at the highest level, he pointed out that each cooperation is built on best individual examples, including cooperation with DIPOS. The ambassador also said: “We are especially glad that we planted this birch, as a symbol and a sign of our fruitful cooperation with DIPOS. Since we are celebrating Russia Day today, this is another symbol of Russia, here, in this beautiful courtyard, in the Diplomatic Colony.”
Director of Dipos Djoko Krivokapic thanked His Excellency, Mr. Bocan-Kharchenko and the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation Mr. Hripunov for the visit and expressed satisfaction with the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of cooperation between the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Belgrade and this Company.

 

In his address, the director said the following: “As part of this jubilee, and as a result of our exceptional cooperation, today’s planting of this tree is also a great pleasure for me.” Therefore, dear Mr. Bocan-Kharchenko, I thank you for responding to todays invitation, so that you and I, by planting this tree, can leave a pledge for our future meetings and cooperation. I am convinced that for many years to come, in such a symbolic and solemn way, we will enrich the green oasis in the Diplomatic Colony in Dedinje, where we are today, and which dates from 1961. ”

Director Krivokapic used this opportunity to congratulate the brotherly people of the Russian Federation on the national holiday – Russia Day, June 12, and noted the importance of the strategic partnership of our countries, as well as the spiritual closeness and friendship of our two nations.

 

Emphasizing the silver birch as a symbol of beauty, strength and a fairy-tale Russian landscape, director Krivokapic also read a poem by Sergei Yesenin “Birch” in Russian, dedicated to this tree.

Business cooperation between the Trade Representation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Belgrade and Property management and rental company “Dipos” d.o.o. Belgrade was established back in 1972, when the Representative Office and this Company concluded the first Lease Agreement for the building at 8-10 Katićeva Street.
The Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Andrej Hripunov, used the opportunity to thank the Director of Dipos, Mr. Krivokapic, who, according to him, understands the requirements of the Trade Representation, showing great respect and appreciation towards the Russian Trade Representation and all employees. On that occasion, he added: “This kind of relationship makes our work easier and thus contributes to the development of Russian-Serbian economic cooperation.” In his address, Mr. Hripunov mentioned that Dipos, on the initiative of director Krivokapic, has a direct role and contributes to the improvement of the environment in Belgrade, since the Diplomatic Colony is the greenest part of the city of Belgrade.
The director of Dipos, marking this jubilee, presented to Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko a copy of the first Lease Agreement for the buildings in Katićeva Street in Belgrade, which were signed in 1972 between the Embassy of the former USSR and the Company for Managing Buildings and Apartments of Foreign Diplomatic and Consular Missions.
