On the occasion of the celebration of its National Holiday and 75 years of diplomatic relations between Mexico and the Republic of Serbia, on September 15, 2021  the Embassy of Mexico in the Republic of Serbia organized a ceremony in the Embassy, ​​attended by friends of the Embassy and the Mexican people, representatives of the diplomatic corps as well as representatives of Property management and rental company “Dipos” d.o.o. Belgrade, Deputy Director, Ivana Milosavljević and Director of the Technical  Services, Jovan Roganović.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador of Mexico to Serbia, H.E. Mr. Carlos Isauro Felix Corona, addressed the guests, wished them a warm welcome and pointed out that Mexico and the Republic of Serbia are celebrating this year 75 years of diplomatic relations.

H.E, Mr. Felix Corona stated that since Mexico opened its Embassy in Belgrade, it has never, at any time, closed its doors and has always been close to the Serbian people during the historical events in the Western Balkans. In accordance with its foreign policy principles, international law and stable friendship, Mexico supported the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.

He also pointed out that the month of September is of special importance for the Mexican people, since it represents the month of the fatherland, and on that occasion he referred to yesterday’s celebration – the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and the Republic of Serbia, the latest issue of commemorative postage stamps were promoted. On the issue of postage stamps, on two stamps in a block and a commemorative envelope, the motifs in the foreground are the Belgrade winner and the Mexican Independence Monument, and in the background important cultural and historical monuments, connected by flags and national motifs of both countries in the form of a bridge.

Embassy of Mexico in the Republic of Serbia and Property management and rental company “Dipos” d.o.o. Belgrade have been cultivating good business cooperation for several decades, since the esteemed Embassy uses the real estate from the Company’s fund in 5 Ljutice Bogdana Street.

Mexico is one of the countries with which the citizens of Serbia are very fond of, because both countries have historically advocated the same values, fought for freedom for centuries and provided each other with foreign policy support.

On the occasion of the celebration of the National Holiday of Mexico and 75 years of diplomatic relations with the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade will shine today in the colors of the Mexican flag.

The Mexican flag is composed of three vertical colors; red represents the blood shed by Mexican people who fought for independence, green represents hope and white in the middle represents purity;

Property management and rental company “Dipos” d.o.o. Belgrade also uses this opportunity to send its congratulations to the esteemed Embassy of Mexico in the Republic of Serbia on the occasion of the National Holiday.
