Continuing the practice of marking the jubilee of partnership and friendly relations with diplomatic and consular missions in the Republic of Serbia, which was established for the first time after the appointment of Djoko Krivokapic as director, Property management and rental company “Dipos” d.o.o. Belgrade on June 11, 2021, marked 50 years of business cooperation with the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia.

On this occasion, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation H. E. Aleksandar Bocan-Kharchenko and the director of Dipos, Mr. Djoko Krivokapic, in the presence of the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Mr. Andrej Hripunov, planted a birch tree in the Diplomatic Colony in Dedinje.

In his address, director of Dipos, Mr. Krivokapic, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation that this Company has achieved with the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia 50 years ago, which continues today. He also emphasized his satisfaction of hosting the Ambassador of the Russian Federation for the first time since the founding of the Company.

By planting this tree, we leave a pledge for our future meetings and cooperation – Krivokapic emphasized.

Also, Mr. Krivokapić used the opportunity to congratulate the brotherly people of the Russian Federation on the national holiday, Russia Day, and noted the special importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the spiritual closeness of the two nations.

Emphasizing the birch as a symbol of beauty, strength and a fairy-tale Russian landscape, director Krivokapic also read a poem by Sergei Yesenin “Birch” in Russian, dedicated to this tree.

H.E. Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Mr. Bocan-Kharchenko, who is visiting Dipos for the first time since its founding, was touched when director Krivokapic decided to read the poem “Birch” by Sergei Yesenin, in Russian, and on that occasion pointed out:

“It’s a really nice surprise for us. We have had a fruitful cooperation for 50 years. Political systems are changing, states are changing, but the cooperation continues, to everyone’s satisfaction. “Cooperation continues at the level of two countries, and it is not built by big words among statesmen, but it relies on individual good – the best examples of cooperation between individuals.”

The Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Andrej Hripunov, took the opportunity to thank the Director of Dipos, Mr. Krivokapic, for the successful cooperation dating back to 1972, and added:

“This kind of relationship makes our work easier and thus contributes to the development of Russian-Serbian economic cooperation.”

In his address, Mr. Hripunov mentioned that Dipos, with the initiative of director Krivokapic, has a direct role and contributes to the improvement of the environment in Belgrade, since the Diplomatic Colony is the greenest part of the city of Belgrade.
